Ever since 1949, when we inherited the knowledge, tools, and documentation of the renowned Rem-Bartok masters, our production has been creating stills that combine the craftsmanship of traditional trades with today’s technology. Our tradition, however, reaches even further back, to the 1930s, and since then, we have never stopped refining the art of distillation. From small hobby stills for lovers of homemade spirits to powerful professional distilleries for craft and industrial production, every DES still is made with the same level of care, from pure copper and premium materials, tailored to the needs of those who want a top-quality distillate. Today, we process more than 150 tons of copper per year and deliver over 6,500 stills to customers around the world. Our products are present on six continents through a network of 30 distributors.

From the heart of Serbia, our stills now travel all over the world, to Australia, the United States, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, and many other countries. Today, DES is made up of a team of 90 people. We are especially proud to employ and train people with disabilities, contributing to the creation of an inclusive and adapted working environment. For this approach, we received the “FAIR PRODUCT” recognition, awarded by the Association of Companies for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities. Although we have grown and expanded across the globe, one thing has remained the same, our commitment to quality, tradition, and the people who create top-quality distillates.
